I am MATTHEW MACIESOWICZ
I am a 4th year Computer Engineering student at the University of Toronto. I was born and raised in Hamilton, ON, and currently living in Toronto during my studies. I am full Polish, and can speak Polish fluently.

Other than programming, some of my skills include working with computer hardware, modeling/CAD, graphic design, and video animations. I am familiar with working with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and the ATMega8 microcontroller as used in my N64 to GameCube controller converter as well as scripting hardware layouts with Verilog. I am experienced with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other Adobe Suite software. I also have some experience in 2D modeling with AutoCAD and 3D modeling with SOLIDWORKS. Finally, I have excellent oral/written communication, leadership and teamwork, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
Interests
I am interested in technology, music, and board games. I enjoy video/photo editing, making animations, designing logos and websites. I also enjoy playing fingerstyle guitar and learning new songs. I also enjoy playing board games with my friends and play sports/outdoor activites such as soccer, badminton, and hiking in the summer and hockey in the winter. I am currently working together with my friend to create a new chess variant "Shtei" about uniting the king and queen on a 10x10 chess board.
